Fresella is a typical product from Puglia, but it has spread throughout southern Italy. It is a bread that is cooked twice to be toasted and become crunchy. It is eaten by lightly soaking it in water and is traditionally seasoned with cherry tomatoes, oil, salt and a little garlic, like bruschetta, but it can be seasoned with the ingredients you like best! The fragrance of wheat bread combined with the crunchiness makes fresella truly unique!
